In married life, happiness is understood in many different aspects. Some people think a family is considered to be happy in which husband, wife, and children understand each other, and life is enough to eat and clothe. Some people think family happiness is the husband and wife making as much money as possible.
In other words, the concept of a happy family is understood as the satisfaction of family members about the combination of objective and subjective factors in terms of material life, health, spiritual life, relationships in the family, and the family’s relationship with the clan and the community. And finance plays a very important role (household income).
The higher the income – the ideal marriage
When asked about their level of marriage satisfaction, over 90% of respondents expressed “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with life. The rate of expressing their dissatisfaction about the marriage is very low.
In particular, the “very satisfied” rate with marriage in urban areas is higher than in rural areas (32.8% compared to 29.2%). This rate increases by income group.
