If you’ve ever been around someone who’s older than you, I’m sure that they’ve made a point of reminding you that time flies. Or maybe said something like: “You won’t believe how quickly time goes by.” These days, we’re all getting older and there’s a whole lot more to life than just being young.
Here are just a few things that I realized when I got mature.
1. Friends Are More Important than Money
It’s easy to see how someone can get caught up in thinking about money. It’s everywhere, a lot of it is on television and it promises happiness, security and so much more. But the one thing that cannot be bought with money is friends. And this is true no matter how wealthy you become: the best form of security is always going to be friends and family who you can rely on.
2. The Only Constant is Change
At a certain point, you’re going to realize that a lot of things will never change. You’ll always need air to survive, food and water will always be necessary for sustaining life and some things are just meant to be.
