How scary is being stressed?
Stress is a condition experienced by many people. So what is stress? This is the body’s feeling when it encounters a series of repressive and stressful pressures. When you are stressed, you experience mental health problems.
According to psychologists, stress is the body’s response to the impact of external or internal factors on the human sympathetic nervous system and psychophysiology.
When under stress, the body will have a lot of changes, such as stomach pain, heart palpitations, increased bowel movements, increased sweat glands, etc. The cause of this condition is due to the hypothalamus — the place responsible. The body’s mood regulator receives signals that the body is under stress.
Immediately, the hypothalamus will affect the pituitary gland, and this gland sends out signals through the nerves and fluids to affect the adrenal gland. As a result, the adrenal glands are stimulated to secrete norepinephrine and epinephrine to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, causing the organs in the body to be affected.
