For most of us, getting to know someone is a pretty straightforward process. We ask basic questions about each other, learn each other’s interests, and try to have fun engaging in conversation. So what are you waiting for? Spend some time asking these ten intriguing unique questions with your new acquaintance.
1. What do you think of this country’s political system?
This question allows you to know what your friend’s political affiliation is, and hear their opinion on the current state of affairs. If your friend is a US citizen, it’s likely that they will have strong opinions regarding the current political system. You’ll learn if they’re optimistic or pessimistic about their future as an American, and whether or not they plan to do anything about it.
2. What would you do if you were invisible?
This question will give you insight into your friend’s personality. Are they impulsive and thrill-seeking, or would they rather enjoy the freedom of being invisible for a day without trying anything too hazardous? This is an open-ended question that can be answered in a variety of ways. Try it out sometime and you might find yourself surprised at the response.
