7 Brain Exercises to Strengthen Your Mind

Everyone wants to be mentally sharp and alert, but the best way to do that is through workouts and diet. But there are other ways that can also help, namely brain exercises. Here are seven of the best exercises you can do to strengthen your mind in addition to increasing your focus and relieving stress.

1) Looking Upwards

Find something up in front of you for 10 seconds each day and gaze at it with all your might for 10 seconds each day before moving on. This will help you focus your attention on the one thing in front of you, instead of getting distracted by all the things on the periphery. You can use anything as long as it’s higher than your eye level.

2) Dancing

Everyone loves dancing, and it helps to develop focus and rhythm. If you’re not a good dancer, just try to keep your feet moving in sync with the music for 10 minutes each day, start from when you wake up till 10 minutes before you go to sleep.

3) Counting

Look at the object in front of you and then count the objects while holding your head straight. Try to do this everyday for 10 seconds before you start your day. This will help you to focus on something that is around you and also something that is far away, as long as it’s not too small to be seen clearly.
