Staying healthy this winter doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact, some of these time-saving tricks can get you started on the right foot in the mornings, so that by the time you’re fully awake and dressed for the day’s activities, you’re already feeling energized and ready to go! Try setting up a morning routine that includes these smart tricks in order to keep your body in check all winter long.
Firstly, don’t even bother with anything too elaborate the night before. Keep things simple and avoid indulgences like potent espresso coffee (and alcohol) come bedtime; your body won’t be able to handle it when it’s trying desperately to sleep through cold air drafts or hectic schedule pressures.
1. Go for a morning walk to get the blood flowing
This helps energize your body, naturally. The key is to warm up before you start walking, so whether it’s indoors or out, wear warm-up clothing appropriate for the weather and start walking slowly, to begin with, then gradually increase your speed.
