If you find yourself thinking about mistakes you’ve made, flaws in your personality or body that need to be fixed, or bad things that have happened in the past and that still cause you pain, then it’s possible you don’t really love yourself. 1) You put others before yourself.
If your priority is putting others before yourself, then you’re probably not as happy or fulfilled as you could be. It’s pretty simple: If you put other people’s needs, feelings, and feelings above your own, then it’s quite likely that they’re much more important to you than they are to yourself.
Understanding the importance of putting yourself first is the first step towards starting to love yourself. If you truly want to love who you are, then it’s vital that you set aside your ego and begin doing what makes YOU happy.
2) You don’t value your own time and energy.
If you don’t value your time and energy, then it’s unlikely that you’ll ever get to the point where you’re happy with who you are because if you feel sad about not being able to find the time or energy for yourself, then how can you feel good about yourself?
