1. Make sure your gut is happy
The health of the bacteria in your gut (your microbiome) affects almost every cell in your body, including your brain! So make sure you’re feeding it right by eating healthy sources of fiber, getting probiotics and other prebiotics, and avoiding artificial sweeteners and other processed foods that can kill off beneficial microbes.
2. Don’t skimp on sleep
Your brain needs sleep! Studies show that getting a full night’s rest helps improve memory, reaction time, creativity, and makes you more emotionally stable. Make sure you set a regular bedtime and stick to it even on the weekends. And if your diet is stressing your gut, try eating more soothing foods like yogurt or kefir before bed.
3. Feed your brain right
What you feed your body feeds your brain! Eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of veggies, healthy fats…
