Since the dawn of human consciousness, gratitude has been an essential ingredient for happiness. Countless people have found that feeling grateful can make them happier, healthier, more mindful, and less anxious. Practicing gratitude is a transformational experience that can change your life for the better.

Nevertheless, many people are still not practicing gratitude or they are doing it incorrectly. This post will share easy steps to get started on this path in just 10 days!

1) Pick out something you appreciate about yourself each day.

Pick out something you appreciate about yourself each day. This can be something as simple as your creativity, your compassion, your perseverance, or any other quality that you value and would like to share more often with others.

Do not pick things that you like best like hairstyle, clothes, etc. These are nice to have but specific things become focused on and the appreciation becomes distorted. If you want to be specific about what it is it is much better to pick a small enjoyable positive quality as detailed above.

2) Make a list of what you appreciate from those close to you.
