10 Ways to Practice Being Your Most Authentic Self

Go ahead and put the bravest face you have on this morning. You know why? You’ve got to walk your talk before you can talk it. And right now, no one is more authentic than you are. So what are some ways to do that? Here are ten ways to practice being your most authentic self:

1) Let go of all the things that don’t matter in life and just focus on what does matter.

We have a lot to do, but we should be doing exactly what is most important to us at this very moment. If you focus on the most important thing in your life right now, there’s no way you can miss it or mess it up. Everything else falls into place organically.

2) Start every day with an idea of where you want to go and an awareness of how you can get there.

Whether it’s 10 minutes in the morning or the whole day, the most productive people are starting their days with anticipation for what they can accomplish before they set out to accomplish anything else. If you start your day with the expectation that it is going to be amazing, then it has to be amazing.

3) Extend grace. Give what you want to give, whether it’s money or love or time.
