The average person is healthy, successful, and well-balanced. They have friends and a life outside of work. They’re well-adjusted. In contrast, the great risk is either underachieved or overwhelmed with infinite possibilities.

The great people are just that: great because they have the time to be great. No one can be great at everything because greatness takes hard work and dedication.

The rule “you don’t get something for nothing” applies to success and greatness too: there’s no such thing as a free lunch in the real world

Being average isn’t easy — it’s what we call “good enough”. And while we encourage everyone to believe in themselves we also recommend taking a step back from time to time. Reality checks are good for the soul.

We know what you’re thinking: “What about all the great people? Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Queen Elizabeth aren’t average!” These people are still normal humans who have normal lives.

Sure they’re rich and famous but they still worry about their children, love, health, job security, and future.

Greatness comes in all shapes and forms. It’s just that some people choose to become great while others choose to be average.
