Usually, being considered a “smart person” means being constantly surrounded by friends who have nothing better to do than to constantly suck up to you and constantly tell you how special and unique you are. You get used to people smiling at your every word and doing whatever they can just so they can secure a small piece of your time.

But while it sounds nice on the surface, being a “smart person” is not all it’s cracked up to be. Problems are constantly being shot down without having a chance to develop into anything substantial, and your “smart friends” usually just add to the confusion.

So, here are few problems that only smart people have:

1. Nowhere To Go With Your Ideas

One of the problems of being a smart person is that you can’t wait to get your ideas out there and start changing the world. You want to improve on things with your fresh, new outlook on life and beliefs in justice and equality.

But when your ideas are shared with a group of friends, they’re not likely to consider them at all. Your thoughts aren’t worth much if everyone else has already thought of them on their own.

2. Friends Who Sacrifice Their Own Ideas For Yours
