1. Strive for the Wrong Type of Goal
It may be easy to think that your goals are all the same, but they’re usually not. Some people view their list of goals as a to-do list, where all you need to do is check each item off. Others think that their goals are more like stepping stones.
They may complete their “first goal,” and then work on the next one if it’s something they think they can achieve. Others focus on just getting started and don’t get too specific about the results they want. In a nutshell: your goals should reflect what you want to achieve in life; not how motivated you happen to be at any given time.
